Christopher Webb, MSN, FNP
CHRISTOPHER WEBB is a Nurse Practitioner who originally hales from Kentucky. His undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Kentucky in 1994. He gained
valuable experience as a nurse for a period of 10 years before completing the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Virginia.
He began practice as a Nurse Practitioner in 2005 at the Cleveland Clinic where he worked with leading health care professionals for 4 years. He relocated to the Roanoke Valley in 2009 to be closer to family and practiced at a regional hospital and for a private cardiology practice until 2014.
He joined Dr. Joiner’s team in April 2014 and has undergone additional training in pain management from the Harvard School of Medicine educational services. He currently provides pain management services to the Roanoke and Lynchburg area.
Chip Woodyard, PA-C
CHIP WOODYARD is a physician assistant with long-standing ties and a commitment to the Alleghany Highlands. He had a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy where he was a
medical service care officer and surgeon to the 4th Combat Engineers Battalion.
He has practiced in the Highlands for 26 years. He is committed to our community, its citizens, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained for the citizens of
the Alleghany Highlands.
He will be the director of dual programs:
- acute/subacute pain and soft-tissue injuries, Dr. Murray E. Joiner, Jr., MD and Associates
- chronic pain and medication management, Pain Centers of the Blue Ridge.
Our goal is that no patient with pain will need to leave the area to receive a thorough evaluation, comprehensive workup/testing, and management for all but the most complicated surgical problems.
